These providers are only given the information they need to perform their function, and are expected to protect it.

6. Cookies & analytics

Our public website does not use cookies and does not run any analytics or tracking scripts. Our site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of serving those files. Our staff-only admin dashboard (not accessible to visitors) uses your browser's local storage, not cookies, to keep you signed in.

7. Storage & security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Information is stored in our email, phone and any business tools we use, which are protected by passwords and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. How long we keep it

We keep your personal information only for as long as we need it to provide our services and meet our legal, tax and record-keeping obligations. When it is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

9. Accessing & correcting your information

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it’s inaccurate or out of date. Contact us using the details below and we’ll respond within a reasonable time. There is no charge to access your information.

10. Marketing & opting out

If you have a job done with us, we may email you occasional maintenance reminders about the services you used. You can choose not to receive these when you submit our quote form (untick the reminders box), and every reminder email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Opting out of reminders never affects booking-related emails such as appointment confirmations. Our email service may also record whether an email was delivered or opened, which helps us know our messages are getting through. You can also tell us at any time that you no longer wish to receive marketing by contacting us directly, and we will action your request promptly.

11. Overseas disclosure

Some of the service providers we use store data on servers located outside Australia — for example, our website host, email delivery service and customer database are hosted in the United States, and address lookups may be processed in Europe. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

12. Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
