Do terracotta and concrete tiles need different treatment?
Yes. Terracotta is fired and glazed, concrete is porous and often coated — each needs its own pressure and solution. We identify the tile first and treat accordingly, which is why nothing gets damaged.
Will washing make my tiles last longer?
It genuinely does. Moss and lichen hold moisture against tiles and physically lift them as they grow. Removing the growth and treating the root protects both the tile and its pointing.
How often should my roof be cleaned?
Every 12–24 months for most Sydney roofs — sooner under heavy tree cover or near the coast, where moss, lichen and salt build up faster.
