Downpipes are where gutter debris goes to hide. Leaves wash along the gutter, compact into the pipe, and quietly block it, then the first big storm sends water over the gutter edge and down your walls.
We clear each downpipe, flush it through with water, and confirm it's flowing freely at the bottom. It's included in a full gutter clean, and available on its own when a stubborn blockage is the whole problem.

How do I know my downpipes are blocked?
Gutters that overflow even when they look clean, gurgling during rain, or water pooling at the base of a wall are the classic signs. A blocked downpipe backs the whole gutter run up.
Can you clear underground drainage too?
We clear and flush the downpipes themselves and the entry to the stormwater connection. Genuine underground stormwater blockages need a plumber's jetter, we'll tell you if that's what we find.
How often should gutters be cleaned?
Twice a year for most Sydney homes, more often under heavy tree cover, where a single season can refill them. Every job comes with before-and-after photos.
Do I need to be home while you work?
Not necessarily. As long as we can access the roof and gutters, most jobs are done while you're out, we send photos when it's finished.
